NP DApp test process/Fortress partnership

We’re excited to announce that we have partnered with FortressDAO, on Avalanche Network !

North Pole will allow users to use wsFORT as collateral for borrowing our stablecoin $POLE. This unlocks more liquidity for wsFORT holders while not missing out on any of the rebases, as wsFORT still earns them.

To start, there will be 100,000 $POLE available to borrow against wsFORT at a maximum of 50% LTV (50% of the value of your wsFORT). Please borrow against your wsFORT responsibly! As a thank you to North Pole, we will add the stablecoin $POLE as a bond option in Fortress, so North Pole can choose to bond with this new stablecoin once bonding is available again.

Now, we’re going to explain how you can take part in out beta test on the Binance Smart Chain testnet !
Our mainnet launch will be done on the Avax network, but we chose to have our beta test on Binance Smart Chain Testnet to not confuse users.

Add Binance Smart Chain testnet network to your wallet

1. Let’s take MetaMask wallet*(Chrome edition)* as an example. Follow the steps in the image and jump to the “Add Network” page.

2. Input Binance Smart Chain testnet details. Network Name: Binance Smart Chain — Testnet New RPC URL: https://data-seed-prebsc-1-s1.binance.org:8545/ Chain ID: 97 Currency Symbol: BNB Block Explore URL: https://testnet.bscscan.com

3. Now your wallet is connected to the Binance Smart Chain testnet network.

Get the BNB test token

1. Go to this link: https://testnet.binance.org/faucet-smart Paste your wallet address and click “Give me BNB”, then “1 BNB”.

2. You should get 1 BNB test token in your wallet now.

Add the USDT_eTEST token to your wallet

1. Now, let’s add the USDT_eTEST token to your wallet. Click the “Import tokens” button at the bottom.

2. Input the USDT_eTEST token details. Token Contract Address: 0x821f04a006dc4600c021850dd2b1f0674c0ce913
Token Symbol: USDT_eTEST
Token Decimal: 18

3. Now you can see that you have 10 USDT_eTEST tokens in your wallet.

Get your USDT_eTEST token

1. Now, let’s get your USDT_eTEST token at this link: https://testnet.bscscan.com/address/0x741b7B4a3B9Bb97D92AadAE5B5c415096D4121D0#writeContract
2. Connect your wallet to Web3.

3. This means you have connected your wallet successfully:

5. Your MetaMask wallet will jump out and show the transaction details which need you to confirm. Click the “Confirm” button.

6. You should receive 10 USDT_eTEST tokens in your wallet now. You could repeat these steps to obtain more USDT_eTEST tokens.

2. Click “Approve USDT_eTEST” and then confirm in your wallet. Now let’s wait until the “Swap” button is clickable. Should take several seconds to 1 minute.

3. Click the “Swap” button and confirm in your wallet, once the transaction completes, you will receive your North tokens in your wallet.
